Chrystal Skead has been active in the multi-family real estate management industry for over 30 years. She has built her career from resident manager to Senior Director with national management companies.  She has utilized the leadership and analytical skills which she has honed over the years to create cohesive teams and built national residential management platforms serving BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Ontario. 

As a Certified Property Manager® and Accredited Residential Manager®, she has been involved in the governance of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) as well as the Real Estate Institute of Canada (REIC) including a role as President of the organization in 2011-12.  She was awarded CPM of the year in 2009, achieved her Emeritus in 2014 and the IREM REME Excellence Award – Individual in 2022.    

Chrystal achieved her Certificate in Adult Continuing Education with Distinction from the University of Alberta in 2006 and subsequently became an instructor for IREM/REIC.  She enjoys sharing the bank of knowledge and skills she has acquired by facilitating multi-family management courses as well as seminars she has developed, both in-class and online.   She continues to create, customize, and facilitate seminars for the Alberta Residential Landlord Association as well as residential management companies, in addition to continuing to serve clients, helping them create and better manage their residential portfolios in the areas of marketing, operations, and team performance.
