DuPont Fabros Trust (DFT), a real estate investment trust, that specialized in wholesale data centers was looking to purchase a data center facility with close proximity to power and fiber.
We identified an off-market transaction, completed a power and fiber analysis, acted as liaison with the local government and facilitated a property tax abatement that reduced DFT’s tax obligation for 10 years.
We also helped DFT secure an anchor tenant to lease more than 5 MW of the 36 MW, 500,000-square-foot facility.
